DISCLAIMERS
This site is in no way associated with the
Ohio High School Athletic Association.
All images on this site are property of The Ohio Helmet Project.
All logos depicted on this site should be regarded as the property of the respective
high school and/or school district or whatever professional team or university from
which the school "borrowed" their logo.
I will not feel guilty if professional teams or higher educational institutions
use this site to go after high schools using their property without permission.
It is your fault for not gaining the appropriate rights to use logos or developing
your own identity.
It would probably be wise to get express written consent of the school and/or school
district before trying to make money by printing these helmet images onto something
and then selling it. I am not 100% familiar with the legalities of reusing logos
that are used and reused throughout high school football, such as the Arizona Cardinals'
cardinal head or the University of Wisconsin's flying W.
If you would like to use my helmets, please give me the courtesy of an email containing
your intentions.
Please do not remote-load the images on this site. That soaks up my bandwith and
costs me money. Please download them to your local machine and then upload them
to your webserver. I know a lot of high schoolers just learning how to program like
to use these images, so please let me know if you need help or clarification about
what I mean here.
No guarantee can be made that helmet images shown here are 100% accurate depictions
of the "real" helmets. I try my best to maintain the highest level of accuracy.
However, there will be plenty of the information at this site that will be based
on visitor input and other sources of unknown reliability (especially poor photography).
Although I plan on this site beeing as close to reality as possible, this site should
not be regarded as the "final word" on Ohio football helmets. If you spot an inaccuracy,
please send me proof of the error and I will make the appropriate changes.

You are welcome to ask, but generally I do not have time to draw helmets other than
for Ohio schools in the size I have established as my standard. I will, on occasion,
help folks out with their needs, but it is on a case-by-case basis.
Even a logo that appears simple to you, like a red helmet with an "S", requires
a photo. That "S" is a specific font, size, shape, color, width, width of lines,
etc.
I certainly appreciate your help! However, please do not hassle me about when your
favorite helmet will be done. I will get to it when I get to it. I love working
on helmets and am doing this for free in my spare time. As with any hobby, it is
at the mercy of more important life events. Among other things, I have a demanding
job, a wife, a house, help with Hudson baseball in the spring, follow Miami University
sports, keep statistics for Hudson football, and run
HudsonExplorersBaseball.com,
HudsonExplorersSoftball.com,
HudsonLacrosse.com,
GreaterClevelandLacrosse.com. I am in no way looking
for pity, but sometimes helmets take a back seat. If you really do have a deadline,
please let me know and I will let you know if it is feasible. Thanks!
